ABOUT CONFERENCE
2024 April 26th, VšĮ “Skaitmeninė statyba” organizes the annual international conference “Skaitmeninė statyba 2024. Vilnius“.
The conference is the largest digital construction and BIM methodology-themed event in Lithuania for the 13th consecutive year.
The purpose of the event is to discuss the development of digital construction and structural information modeling (BIM) methodology in Lithuania, international experiences and trends. During the event, presentations will be given by Lithuanian and foreign digital construction experts.
The main theme of this year’s conference: “Use of digital data in the building life cycle. From BIM to building use and maintenance challenges.“.
During the event, Lithuanian and foreign experts will share their insights, experience and discuss the digitization of the country’s infrastructure, the use of the city model for infrastructure planning, urban mobility solutions, the vision of Vilnius city infrastructure development and the necessary changes in order to achieve progress and digitize the capital’s infrastructure. The highlight of the conference is presentations and discussions about the prerequisites for the creation of the Vilnius metro, the good practices of other countries in implementing metro projects and prevailing myths about the construction of the metro.
The conference will also award the winners of the competition “Lietuvos BIM projektai 2024” and the authors of the best digital construction projects and the presentations of their projects.
The conference “Digital construction 2024. Vilnius” is intended for all participants in the construction process – clients, real estate developers and managers, designers, builders, government representatives, public procurement organizers and representatives of scientific and research institutions.
The predicted number of participants of the event is 300 people.
The conference will take place during the largest construction exhibition RESTA 2024.
