Winners of “BIM Project of the Year 2020”

For the fifth consecutive year Public Institution “Skaitmeninė statyba” (“Digital Construction”) together with the Lithuanian Construction Association, organized the prestigious construction business community‘s contest “BIM Project of the Year”.

The aim of the contest is to select the best practice of Lithuanian companies using BIM technologies and methodology. 25 BIM projects were presented to the jury and winners were selected in 8 categories. During the last five years, 115 BIM projects, implemented by Lithuanian companies, were submitted for the contest BIM Project of the Year.

Winners of “BIM Project of the Year 2020” are the following:

🔹 The best BIM project of public buildings – business complex building SQVERAS, Kaunas (YIT Lietuva)

🔹 The best BIM project of residential buildings – the residential district PILIAMIESTIS, Kaunas (YIT Lietuva)

🔹 The best BIM project of manufacturing buildings – Lithuanian Post Logistics Centre, Vilnius (Conresta)

🔹 The best infrastructure BIM project – viaduct over the railway on the state road no. 170, Mažeikiai (TEC Infrastructure, Kelprojektas)

🔹 The best BIM project of engineering networks (other engineering buildings) – surface wastewater disposal networks between Savanorių ave. and Giraitės st. reconstruction and surface wastewater treatment plants Eigulių str. construction project, Vilnius (Statybų inžinerinės paslaugos)

🔹 The best BIM project abroad – Cooling Tower, South Korea (INHUS Engineering)

🔹 The best BIM project of city design – 3d.vilnius.lt (Vilniaus planas)

🔹 The best BIM project made by students – kindergarten modernization project (Vilnius Gediminas Technical University)
